sq. feetto provide Somerset County with educational and facilities infrastructure to participate in region-wide instructional program development. Will encourage and incentivize greater collaboration between Somerset Regional Advisory Committee and other county advisory committees. Provides a significant community focal point for MD 413 between Westover and Crisfield, including community events.

Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) monies awarded through Tri‐County Council for expansion of Somerset County Career and Technology Enrichment Program in January 2022

Regional Impact

The project represents a significant increase in capacity for Somerset, the most rural county in the LESMD region, thereby helping to place it on par with Wicomico and Worcester counties in the technical high school portion of the education continuum.
