Somerset County Technical High School
Somerset County Technical High School is a feeder school of Somerset County’s two high schools – Washington Academy & High School and Crisfield Academy & High School. To promote collaboration, the modern 103,000 sf LEED Gold Certified building is organized around Career Clusters and is designed to be a teaching tool with exposed structure and systems. The fourteen programs in trade careers and Project Lead the Way programs (Biomed and Pre-Engineering) provide a pathway to the Economic Engines of the LESMD, including Aerospace on the Shore.
Students receive hands-on training in the classroom as they work toward job-related certifications. Internships and apprenticeships with various LESMD industries and businesses provide real-world opportunities to put new and developing skills into action.
Additional student growth opportunities consist of summer enrichment camps, the SkillsUSA program, student internships, and driver’s education co-sponsored by Somerset County and the Tri-County Council.
