Wicomico County Public Schools’ CTE programs are organized into 8 career clusters, designed to assist students gain the technical knowledge necessary for a productive career and meet the regional workforce needs of the LESMD Economic Engines of Healthcare, Agriculture, Manufacturing and Tourism/Conventions.

High Performance Manufacturing students learn to use and master computerized lathes and mills, plus 3-d printing, laser engraving, CNC routers, and other processes to prepare them for a career in the field. Upon course completion, students earn 6 credits through an articulation agreement with Wor-Wic College. Community College.
Economic Engine – Manufacturing
The Hospitality and Tourism industry is one of the largest employers on LESMD. Culinary Arts students receive firsthand experience with recipe modification, food preparation, and restaurant management. Students who successfully complete the Culinary Arts program may receive advanced standing and 3 credits at Wor-Wic Community College.
Economic Engine – Tourism and Conventions
Nursing Assistant Programs prepare students to perform health care procedures and to participate in a clinical “hands-on” experience at a local health care facility. Instruction includes patient physical care, measuring and recording vital signs, assistance with treatments, and activities of daily living. The program prepares the student to be tested for the geriatric nursing assistant certificate. Each student completes approximately 70 hours of patient care preparing them for a future career in healthcare.
