The upcoming cargo resupply mission of 2021
The NG-15 launch on February 20 carried some 8,000 pounds of cargo, experiments to the International Space Station.

Mar. 22 – Apr. 2 – Wallops to participate in virtual JA Inspire Virtual
NASA Wallops is proud to participate in the virtual JA Inspire experience March 22 – April 2, 2021, for the second consecutive year. In 2020, Wallops joined over 140 businesses at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center representing the Aeronautics / Aerospace industry. This outreach effort introduced thousands of area eighth grade students to employment and internship opportunities available within the new space market on the Lower Eastern Shore.
In 2021, the event will be virtual and will occur over a two-week span, allowing for 11th and 12th-grade students and adult job seekers to participate in addition to 8th-grade middle school students.

Summer Virtual Internships
Internship opportunities are available with NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility for area high school and undergrad students.
Applicant criteria:
– Must be a U.S. citizen
– High School or undergrad
– Maintain a 3.0 GPA
– Be enrolled full-time in an accredited school

Northrop Grumman’s 16th Commercial Resupply Services Launch
Northrop Grumman’s 16th commercial resupply services mission is scheduled to deliver cargo to the International Space Station. Launch is from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport’s Pad-0A at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island.
